Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience a career in an industry that you are interested in? Well look no further… NTIEC's Paid/Unpaid Internship Program was designed with you in mind!
Paid Internship - Students experience part-time employment with an employer that enhances their stated career pathway. Employment takes place during the school year and most students leave school early to work in the afternoon, but placements are flexible. Schedules vary depending on employer need, school schedules, school policy and the academic progression of individual students. Unpaid Internship - Students experience part-time work-based learning in a field or industry that aligns with their stated career pathway. These run during the school year and the actual duration and number of participation hours are flexible. These placements can include working with professionals, trade groups, non-profits and volunteer organizations. Each placement is designed to move a student along a stated career pathway.
