Executive Director
Shealynn Shave
Shealynn has dedicated the past 15 years to advancing opportunities in the nonprofit sector. At NTIEC, she has played a key role in leading work-based learning programs for area youth, and since her appointment as Executive Director, she has strengthened NTIEC’s reputation as a leading business–education partnership in the region. Her current focus includes securing funding, developing new opportunities throughout the region, and expanding NTIEC’s footprint to serve more students and employers. In addition to her leadership at NTIEC, Shealynn has served as the Executive Director of the Wyoming County Community Health Foundation since 2012, where she oversees daily operations and guides the organization's mission to improve community health and wellness. Shealynn holds a degree in Communications from Keystone College with an emphasis in Public Relations. She also serves on the board of the Northeast PA Area Health Education Center (AHEC), continuing her commitment to fostering education and workforce development across the region.

Assistant Director & Educational Coordinator/ Career Coach
Carrie Bradley
Carrie has been serving NTIEC as an educational coordinator and career coach for the past 7 years. Prior to joining NTIEC, Carrie lived in Georgia and taught high school Spanish and ESL. She received her BS.Ed in Spanish Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and is a Pennsylvania-certified teacher. Her primary focus is on our School-to-Work (STW) work-based learning programs in Tioga and Bradford counties. Carrie has expanded this program throughout her years with us and continues to work to provide as many opportunities for high school students as possible. Carrie lives in Mansfield, PA with her husband Tim, and two daughters, Leah and Claire. They also own and operate a food truck and catering business, so they are well-engaged in our local community and workforce development initiatives. When asked what she likes most about working for NTIEC, she commented on how she gets to interact with both students and employers, connecting them and building a strong foundation in our small, rural communities. Carrie enjoys finding new opportunities for students to “learn beyond the classroom”. Seeing them develop vital skills for their futures is the best part!

Educational Coordinator
Colin Furneaux
Colin brings 40 years of education and trade experience to NTIEC. Formerly a technology education teacher and school administrator, Colin retired from public education in the fall of 2017. He then joined NTIEC as an educational coordinator, using his experience to help grow the internship program in our eastern region. He has a degree in Technology Education from Millersville University, an advanced degree from East Stroudsburg University and his Superintendent’s Letter from Marywood University. Colin’s goal is to expand work-based learning opportunities for high school students. He works closely with students, school counselors and employers to set-up paid and unpaid student internships. “NTIEC placements allow students to rise along specific career pathways or gain foundational career experience. Employers get to participate in “grass-roots” workforce development. School counselors see opportunity for students to explore careers, advance specific career skills, or pursue an alternative career pathways (Act 158 Compliant). The NTIEC School-to-Work placements are a high quality and low-cost solution to Work-Based-Learning.” - Colin

Educational Coordinator
Jill Wheeland
Jill is a former teacher and local business owner in Mansfield, PA. She will help facilitate the school-to-work program in our western region. Jill is a graduate of Mansfield University with a degree in Elementary Education and furthered her studies through Walden University adding a Master’s of Science to her resume. After teaching locally for nine years, Jill turned her focus to operating a family-owned business. Jill brings a multitude of skills to NTIEC, most importantly her willingness to provide opportunities to our youth. She has been a youth advisor for multiple organizations, and she’s passionate about helping young people gain the skills they need to succeed. We are thrilled to welcome Jill and the many ideas she has for continuing to grow our programs and provide additional opportunities for our students. "NTIEC’s school-to-work program is important to our community of learners. It gives students a variety of opportunities to engage and learn while having hands-on experiences. Students are able to use NTIEC’s job shadowing and work-based learning opportunities to gain insight toward their future career pathway."

Educational Coordinator
Krista Windows
Krista Windows is one of our educational coordinators and oversees the School-to-Work Internship program at schools within both Bradford and Tioga counties. She has been with NTIEC since November of 2023 and brings a wealth of knowledge from both her corporate and education backgrounds. She has a Bachelor of Science in Management and Human Resources from Park University in Parkville, Missouri. She enjoys working with the students and employers as they build connections. Exploring the wide variety of jobs students choose for their work-based learning placements is both exciting and rewarding! Krista lives in Millerton, PA with her husband and 4 children. In addition to her work and family life, Krista enjoys volunteering whenever possible, especially through Wreaths Across America as she oversees the placement of wreaths at multiple local cemeteries.

Educational Coordinator
Megan Walker
Megan Walker, Educational Coordinator, comes to us with an extensive knowledge in international and domestic large-scale consumer events where she worked with 1,000’s of small businesses and national brands. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State University in Community and Commercial Business. Her focus at NTIEC is on our work-based learning and career exposure programs including NTIEC's externships, lecture series, career events, job shadowing opportunities, summer programs and providing lead administrative support for the day-to-day operations of NTIEC.
