NTIEC Introduces New Naming Conventions for Programs

NTIEC will begin to rename their career programs to better align with the naming conventions that the Commonwealth of PA uses. The staff at NTIEC is eager to continue developing more programs to meet our student’s needs.

Externships: Unpaid, multi-week opportunities in a hospital, dental or veterinary setting

Job Shadowing: Limited duration opportunities to shadow a professional

Internships: Paid or unpaid job placements at a variety of local businesses that earns school credit

Youth Apprenticeship: A paid worksite learning placement aligned with an industry recognized apprentice program
