Kale Winters is a sophomore at Northeast Bradford High School who recently worked with NTIEC to learn more about the business side of farming.
Kale job shadowed at Circle Z Beef Farm in Sugar Run, PA, to learn about beef farming and running a farming business. Kale is interested in being a full-time farmer in his future and already has a herd with over 20 cattle.
Kale reached out to NTIEC to help facilitate a meeting between a full-time farmer at Circle Z Beef Farm to learn more about farming regulations, the necessary paperwork and preparation, as well as many other aspects of farming, inside and outside of the barn. Kale is a dedicated and eager learner and certainly has a bright future ahead of him as a farmer!
