NTIEC Participates in Career Fair at Lackawanna Trail

Today, NTIEC's Educational Coordinator Colin Furneaux finished his week up by talking with students at Lackawanna Trail School District's spring career fair about future careers! Colin is our student internship coordinator for the Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wyoming and Susquehanna Counties servicing schools. How convenient that our very own NTIEC student intern, Aquinniah Lawrence was in attendance and snagged a picture with him!

Aquinniah is a senior at Lackawanna Trail and interns at our regional office in Tunkhannock. As a student intern, she provides the needed assistance in our office to keep operations running smoothly. Her daily tasks include creating public relations pieces, keeping our social media platforms updated, important office management tasks as directed and so much more! Thank you for all you do Aquinniah!

Did you know that NTIEC provides work-based learning opportunities in the form of year-long student internships? Over 23 school districts enroll juniors and seniors each year into our internships. This year we have well over 200 student interns, which we have been highlighting in recent weeks, in various places of employments throughout the region.
