Our Board of Directors is Growing

NTIEC would like to welcome Richard Emmons as a new board member.

Richard is currently in his 20th year in education, with 17 years being an elementary teacher, and the past two years as the Jr./Sr. High School Principal all at Susquehanna Community School District.  Outside of four years at College Misericordia (now Misericordia University), he has resided in Susquehanna County his entire life. He currently lives in New Milford, PA with his wife Lea Ann and their four sons.

Richard is extremely passionate about providing opportunities and job-based experiences for students in not only Susquehanna Community School District, but in our region. He has been able to see the impact of quality preparation programs on students and the success it has brought them in their adult lives.  Richard looks forward to working with the Northern Tier Industry & Education Consortium to find new and innovative ways to incorporate industry based needs into education in our area.

The staff at NTIEC looks forward to this partnership and the direction that Richard will provide based on his extensive experience in education.
